Poem No. : XXXIV , p-47
(Best Poem in view of C.C.Hadke)
In the train,
Certain Indian
Met the German,
After formal introduction,
Him praised the Indian,
For Swastik and calling Aryan.

Indian talked about Hindu religion
With praiseworthy words,
And miraculous description.

Who is the chief of Hindu religion?
Inquired the German,
He is Shankaracharya
Can I be that one?
Asked overambitious German,
No, never, never you can,,
That only a Brahmin can,
Proudly said the Indian.

Him kicked the German,
On definite region,
He fell on his mouth,
In a hurry, he left the train,
Outside he ran,
Caught another train,
Instead of North,
Reached the South,
Poor fellow!

Villains are worshipped as heroes,
Statesmen have got big zeroes,
East is called waste,
For worst culture, criticize west,
North they feat of bloody nest,
South they call black spot,
Funny fellows with big knot,
Worst is labeled as the best
You work hard, let me rest,
Our culture is the best.

In my neighbourhood,
Lived a friend,
Named Nana Phadanvis,
He spent at least
An hour a day
Talking against Muslims,
He talked elaborately,
Somnath temple destruction,
He talked forcibly;
How Zizia was taken,
He talked descriptively
On forcible conversion,
And women raped
During partition,
Certain Muslim leaders
Insulted nation's father,
He talked of smugglers,
And terrorist in Kashmir,
He talked how Muslims
Get facilities for Haj,
Not provided for
Hindu pilgrimages,
One day listener I was,
To boring chat of his,
Well-known character that he was,
At the moment,
A man appeared,
Parcel he had brought
From Dubai it was sent,
He signed and received,
With smiling face he said,
My son has sent it,
Working over there,
And two more
In Saudi and Kuwait,
As doctor and engineer,
Working over there
To earn in crore!

How much did Galileo get,
And Newton get,
Pythagoras and Archimedes
Had no mark list.

Mangoes and apples
Were falling down,
Newton only learnt this,
From ages, we boil rice,
Water vapour pushing the cover,
Robert Boyle could discover,
Railway for passenger.

Where were our men of merit?
Getting 100 percent and more,
Selfish and cheat hypocrite they are,
Wisdom no more,
Monopoly of single caste,
Eklavya, you remember.

I
God created man,
Or man created God
I bother none,
Descriptions long and broad
Is but fun.

Does not content
My hungry stomach,
Neither provide
Cloth for naked,
Or roof to protect
From burning sun.

Shivering cold,
Pouring rain,
All such talk is in vain.

Whether God created man,
Or God was created by man,
I bother none.
III
You must be created
By the God,
I am not.

You are blessed,
I am cursed.

In the temple, you can enter
While I cannot,
You can drink water
From the well
But I cannot.

You are fed well
And I die of hunger,
He has provided you with luxury,
And there is no place
For my dead body to bury.

I must be an offspring
Of my own father,
Destitute, downtrodden and poor
And he must be your----

Justice is dark,
Injustice is black
Our birthmark,
Carrying on our back.

Justice I know not,
With injustice I have got
Inborn knot,
Justice is for high born,
Opposite for low born.

Mentioned in the scriptures,
Forced and revered
By cruel creatures,
They followed the tradition,
Sanctified by the religion.

Scriptures are written
By God the almighty,
His brain was rotten,
Wily, naughty and haughty;
Left us inhuman,
At the hands of nasty,
He too was their slave
Mischievous and knave
XVII
All are your agents
Those who accept
From under the table
And go to count
Into the temple.He is clever
Secretary and collector
Executive and administrator
No commission
no loan
Manager is singing your prayer
Teacher and professor
Are good in character
No tuition, no number.
Justice to honour
Agents of your
Acquittal more
And conviction rare
Oh, almighty
Why do you cry?
For pain, poverty and hunger.
The disease to recover,
Corruption, exploitation
Discrimination and humiliation,
Surgeon and doctor
Busy in counting money
Of capitation fee to recover.
Oh, almighty,
Your abode, is not over,
Why don't you offer
Commission to executive engineer?
Oh, almighty.
XVIII
Might is right,
Poor live in the fright,
Rich men have got
Their future bright.

To protect their right,
Soldiers and knight,
In the dark and cold night,
Poor are begging for the sight,
Almighty is the great!
XX
Nobody is so great,
As work and worker,
Nothing is so sacred,
As sweat of the labour.

Cruel and wicked,
The sweat eater,
Rich and ruler,
Real carnivore,
Their protector God,
Great, great sinner!
